I am known for my work as a researcher, writer, teacher and practitioner interested in the reform of undergraduate education, faculty worklife, and the contributions of colleges and universities to society. I view SIMSOC as a major innovation in higher education in how it views society and the way that view is taught.
I have held several positions at the University of Michigan and the University of Massachusetts Boston. I am now retired.

Going into his senior year of high school, he ran the first instance of an online SIMSOC over Zoom. As a design major at Stanford, he is continuing to rethink how SIMSOC fosters connection and can be used for interpretation and analysis.

Rangoli got her start in game development while in college and has been fortunate to be able to experience many roles from art and design to programming and development, and even some event planning and production. While she has been able to try many things, she found her niche as a Technical Game Designer, being able to bridge the gap between design and development. Being able to understand why a design is created with a user in mind, and understanding how a game might be programmed, she enjoys finding solutions for both design and development.
